Ajuna Network enables developers and game studios to create decentralized games that integrate game engines including Unity and Unreal with Polkadot. It harnesses trusted execution environments (TEEs) to massively reduce latency.
Developers can connect games powered by Unity or Unreal to Ajuna, and add a tokenized incentive layer on top of them. Alternatively, they can use Ajuna's dedicated SDK, toolbox, and API to fully integrate blockchain-based assets into their game using complex logic and dynamic game mechanics.
Developers need to stake $AJUN to deploy games on an Ajuna Game Chain. Smaller games which don’t require a dedicated Game Chain can access the Ajuna Network on a pay-as-you-go basis. All related network fees are paid in $AJUN.
Gamers can support new game projects by helping them to acquire an Ajuna Game Chain. This functions similarly to a crowdloan campaign — gamers can back their favorite new games by staking $AJUN and receive rewards such as game tokens, NFTs, or other perks. $AJUN is also used to access services such as token swaps, tournaments, in-game auctions, season passes, NFTs, and Ajuna’s Trust Score system.
