We propose a high-performance modular blockchain that supports a multi-chain structure. With the popularity of crypto increasing every day, scalability has become the biggest challenge for permissionless blockchains. At present, the common way to solve the scaling problem is to optimize its monolithic structure, whereas, Cognetix proposes the layered architecture by vertically segmenting settlement, execution, and data availability into three different layers and optimizing each one of them according to their specifics.
Cognetix also proposes a collaborative “Netix Consensus” protocol. With the proposed structure Cognetix can reach hundreds of thousands of TPS and eliminate the need for external data availability, thus providing an efficient and reliable full-stack solution for the development of Web 3.0.
Future Explorations
Cognetix future work includes the following areas: At the execution layer, Cognetix will continue to use Cognetix as the default execution engine for its chains. Cognetix will use it as the default execution engine for its chains. Cognetix will use it as the default execution engine for its chains. At the settlement layer, we will advance our research on consensus.
protocols, including semi-synchronous networks and pure asynchronous networks, to support large- scale consensus node consensus in various network environments. various network environments. At the data availability layer, we will continue to reduce trust assumptions and improve storage efficiency.
