Monad is an EVM-compatible L1 that combines MonadBFT (tail-fork-resistant, pipelined BFT), asynchronous + parallel execution, JIT compilation, and an SSD-native MonadDb to deliver Ethereum-semantics with ~10k TPS, 400 ms blocks, and ~800 ms finality. Developers keep familiar tooling (Pectra-level EVM/RPC, EIP-1559/7702), while the architecture pipelines consensus and execution and uses optimistic concurrency to parallelize transaction processing without changing results—backed by open-source C++/Rust clients and a live public testnet.
