Planet IX is a GameFi strategy game, where the mission is to explore the world, collect NFTs, trade them on the in-game marketplace, challenge each other in Play-to-Earn games and reap rewards from various DeFi functionalities.
The setting of the game features a virtual Earth with virtual pieces of land called PIX, all of which are NFTs. Player's goal is to restore the planet to its former green and blue glory by collecting PIX.
$IXT is a Ploygon-based in-game utility token and can be used to buy PIX in the Planet IX Marketplace. The token holders will play a big part in shaping the future Planet IX.
