1B Euros Worth of Assets Exchanged Through Bitzlato Linked to Criminal Activities, Says Europol

Europol released a statement about crypto exchange Bitzlato, saying that about 46% of the assets exchanged through Bitzlato, worth roughly 1 billion euros, had links to criminal activities.

Europol also said that several individuals from Bitzlato's senior management have been arrested.

Last week, the US Department of Justice announced enforcement action against Bitzlato, arresting its founder.
