The Aave community has initiated a proposal to Invest a Portion of Aave Treasury Stablecoins into RWA, suggesting a collaboration with Centrifuge Prime to utilize stablecoins for low-risk Real World Assets (RWA) investments. This aims to enhance Aave's returns, establish a long-term RWA asset infrastructure, and expand familiarity with the RWA market.

Aave will join Centrifuge Prime to establish legal and technical infrastructure for Aave's RWA investments. Aave Treasury will invest assets into RWA, initially allocating $1 million USDC to short-term US Treasury bonds. The goal is to increase the investment amount to 20% of the stablecoin holdings and may choose to invest in other yields, subject to Aave governance approval.

According to DeepDAO data, Aave's current treasury assets amount to approximately $113 million, with 67% in AAVE tokens and around $15 million in stablecoins.
