Acala Launches New Proposal IADS to Increase Liquidity of $aUSD in the Ecosystem

Polkadot ecosystem DeFi platform Acala introduces the ‘Interprotocol aUSD Distribution Scheme’ (IADS), enabling Tapio Protocol, Taiga Protocol, and protocols on any parachain to be liquidity distributors for $aUSD across Polkadot and Kusama. $aUSD has adopted relatively conservative risk parameters due to market volatility. However, there is increasing demand for the $aUSD stablecoin in the ecosystem while, at the same time, a shortage of stablecoin liquidity exists. In this initial proposal, IADS solves this liquidity shortage by directly distributing $aUSD to Taiga Protocol's 3-pool (USDT-USDC-aUSD) to increase liquidity efficiency. The 3USD (LP token of the 3-pool) are then used as the $aUSD backing asset.
