After FTX Japan, FTX EU also Open Withdrawal for Impacted Customers

FTX EU, the European arm of the FTX, has launched a new website allowing European customers to submit withdrawal requests.

The website, https://ftxeurope.eu/, has been approved by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and will only be used for customers to claim their FIAT balances.

The move comes five months after the FTX Group and its affiliated companies, including FTX EU, filed for bankruptcy in November 2022. FTX EU only became available in March 2022, so the number of customers impacted is not expected to be large.

FTX EU is the second subsidiary of FTX to open withdrawal for their customers after FTX Japan, which has already allowed a total withdrawal of funds amounting to $50 million in late February.
