Animoca Brands Subsidiary Darewise Closes $3.5 Million Funding Round With Gamefi Ventures Involved

Darewise Entertainment, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has raised $3.5 million through a pre-sale of upcoming tokens with participation from Gamefi Ventures, London Real Ventures, Citizen Capital, Blocore, Animoca Ventures, Citizen Capital, Blocore, Animoca Ventures, and Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands.

Darewise is said to be launching an ecosystem token based on the Bitcoin blockchain, and the upcoming 3A MMO game Life Beyond will be the first gaming metaverse to utilize the token for in-game assets, virtual lands, and more.

The token is expected to be released in early 2024 with support from Horizen Labs, ApeCoin's strategic technology provider.
