AR Game Developer DEFY Labs Raised $3.5M in Seed Round Co-led by Animoca Brands and Others

DEFY Labs, the developer behind move-to-earn AR game DEFY, has raised $3.5M in seed round co-led by Animoca Brands, OliveX and Spartan Groups, with participation from investors including Polygon Studios, GameFi Ventures and Bixin Ventures. The fund will go to team expansion, game development and mobile AR feature improvement. With AR technology, DEFY puts players in a Robinhood-style scene, where they can earn rewards like cryptocurrencies and NFTs by completing the missions.
