Arbitrum Announces the Launch of Nitro Devnet

Ethereum scaling solution Arbitrum announced the launch of Nitro Devnet, an Ethereum-based testnet on which developers can now build and test. It is said that Nitro enables massively higher throughput and lower fees. Once the devnet has some mileage behind it, the team will seamlessly migrate the Arbitrum Rinkeby testnet to the Nitro stack and eventually the current Arbitrum One to the Nitro stack.
