Axelar Network Introduces Quadratic Voting in Maeve Mainnet Upgrade

Cross-chain interoperability network Axelar announced that it has introduced quadratic voting in its recently completed Maeve mainnet upgrade, which aims to improve Axelar's network security by boosting its decentralization. With quadratic voting, each validator's voting power is equal to the square root of the delegated stake it accumulates, as opposed to the actual stake. It facilitates a more decentralized distribution of power by according less marginal voting power.
