Bahamian Payment Platform Island Pay Launches Digital Wallet with USDC as Main Currency

Bahamian payment platform Island Pay and stablecoin issuer Circle launched a digital wallet, CiNKO, according to Bloomberg.

The wallet, which will be launched in more than 30 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, uses $USDC as its main currency, allowing users to fund prepaid cards, transact with merchants and make peer-to-peer payments, even if users do not have a bank account.
