Banana Gun Refunded 740 $ETH to 591 Wallets in First Phase of Compensation

Telegram Bot project Banana Gun announced it has refunded 740 $ETH to 591 wallets, which is the first part of its compensation plan.

On September 11, Banana Gun's token $BANANA nearly went to zero in only one and a half hours after the launch, due to a bug in the contract. The project said it would compensate affected users and took a snapshot at block 18115275. In addition, Banana Gun would launch a new token and conduct airdrops. According to a statement, Banana Gun has different plans for three types of users:

  • People who held tokens at the snapshot and didn't sell, as well as unclaimed presalers: the same amount of new tokens
  • People who bought tokens after the snapshot: get back $ETH in full (already distributed)
  • People who sold tokens after Banana Gun issued warnings: different compensation solutions based on different situations

Meanwhile, Banana Gun said it will offer incentives for people to hold onto their coins after relaunch. The new LP pool will be restored at the snapshot price ($6.2).
