Binance is under investigation by Indian anti-money laundering agency

People familiar with the matter said that the Bureau of Enforcement has summoned Binance executives for questioning and is awaiting a response. Because this matter is under investigation, the summoned person will not be named. India is investigating gambling apps operated by Chinese operators that have accumulated more than 10 billion rupees ($134 million) in the past 10 months and are suspected of laundering money through the WazirX cryptocurrency exchange, which Binance acquired in 2019 WazirX.
