Blockchain Gaming Platform LootRush Closed $12 Million Seed Round Led by Paradigm

LootRush, a Steam-like platform for blockchain games, has raised $12 million in a seed funding round led by Paradigm with participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Y Combinator, and others. LootRush offers a quick-start platform for blockchain games and also offers NFT rentals for game play aimed at cutting the cost for new gamers and earning yield for the NFT owners. Axie Infinity is the only game available to play on LootRush at this time. In addition, the platform plans to roll out additional titles throughout the year, including CryptoKitties and NBA Top Shot.
