Cymbal, a California-based blockchain technology startup, closed an $18.5 million funding round with participation from Coinbase Ventures, First Round Capital, Solana Ventures, CAA Connect, and Patron, among others. The company intends to use the funding to expand operations and its development efforts.

Cymbal is building a human readable blockchain explorer that allows users to view the Ethereum blockchain and search for all the billions of events and activities stored on-chain (including holdings, transactions, social media accounts, etc.), working to make it understandable by anyone.

Currently, the company supports analyzing and processing Ethereum blockchain data, which will soon be expanded to Solana. Cymbal AI can tell users the ranking of their wallet portfolios, the number of NFT purchases, sales of specific collections, and more.
