BNB Chain Releases New Node Client, Cross-chain Expected to Resume Tomorrow

BNB Chain released v1.1.16 node client, which is a hard fork release for both testnet and mainnet to mitigate the cross-chain infrastructure between Beacon Chain and Smart Chain so that the cross-chain can be re-enabled back. Cross-chain on mainnet is expected to resume on October 12th at around 8am UTC. The stuck cross-chain transferred fund should recover then, while the staking rewards will recover after the next day's 0am UTC.
