Cardano Core Developer: Cardano Testnet Catastrophically Broken Due to a Bug in Cardano Node v 1.35.2
Cardano core developer Adam Dean tweeted that Cardano testnet is catastrophically broken due to a bug. It was reported that the upcoming Vasil hard fork v 1.35.2 contains a serious bug within it, which was discovered when the operators rushed to upgrade on mainnet. While the bug has been discovered, most operators have already upgraded to v 1.35.2, while v 1.35.3, which launched earlier this week, is now incompatible and incapable of syncing the chain and can only be tested on two new testnets that do not have any block history. In addition, Adam Dean said he has called on Input Output CEO Charles Hoskinson to develop and deploy the tooling necessary to "Disaster Recovery" the testnet.
