Ceramic Developer 3Box Labs Closed $30 Million in Financing Led by Multicoin Capital and Union Square Ventures

TokenInsight news, 3Box Labs, a developer of the decentralized database protocol Ceramic, announced the closing of a $30 million Series A round of funding led by Multicoin Capital and Union Square Ventures, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Animoca Brands and others. The funds raised will be used to accelerate development of Ceramic and unlock data composability in the Web3 ecosystem. Ceramic is a decentralized network for composable Web3 data. The network consists of three core components: scalable, decentralized data infrastructure; open APIs for storing, modifying, and retrieving data; community-created marketplace of reusable data models. With this design, Ceramic makes it possible for developers to build applications on a global network of composable data.
