Chainalysis Valued at $8.6 Billion in GIC-Led Investment

Blockchain data analytics company Chainalysis closed a $170 million Series F funding round at a $8.6 billion valuation, led by the company's existing investor, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC. Chainalysis is a startup that sells services to detect and track crypto fraud. Previously, Chainalysis closed a $100 million Series E round led by Coatue in June 2021 at a $4.2 billion valuation, and a $100 million Series D round led by Paradigm in March 2021 at a valuation of over $2 billion.
