Chiliz's EVM Compatible Layer1 Blockchain Goes Live

Chiliz, a Web3 infrastructure provider that focuses on sports and entertainment, announced its new EVM-compatible Layer1 blockchain Chiliz Chain 2.0 goes live, with the genesis block produced.

Chiliz said it will publicly announce 8 to 10 enterprise level projects in the coming months, including NFT ticketing pilots, third-party athlete-focused Fan Tokens and Web3 infrastructure partners building for sports and entertainment.

In addition, Chiliz CEO Alexandre Dreyfus announced the launch of the Chiliz World Tour hackathon for 2023-2024, which will be held in 18 cities, such as Seoul, New York and Paris.

According to TokenInsight, the price of $CHZ went up by 27.2% over the last 24 hours, trading at $0.177458 now.
