Circle to Launch Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire tweeted that Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) is getting closer to launch. CCTP is an infrastructure that can help foster more scalable, efficient, secure and user friendly apps built on $USDC. It can burn native $USDC on a source chain, and mint native $USDC of the same amount on a destination chain.
