Coinbase Pauses Plans for BAYC NFT Short Film Degen Trilogy

Coinbase has paused production of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) film trilogy Degen Trilogy. In response, Coinbase said that its team is continuously evolving its content strategy and has decided to pause production of the remaining two films while it identifies the best path forward for the creative.

Previously, Coinbase announced the production of an animated film trilogy featuring Bored Apes in April of this year. In July, the first part of a trilogy of BAYC animated short films was released, "RUN THE CHAIN", a 5-minute film showcasing dozens of BAYC NFTs and ApeCoin.
