CoinFLEX CEO: CoinFLEX Sent Notice of Default to Roger Ver
CoinFLEX CEO tweets that the founder of Bitcoin.com Roger Ver owes $47 million to CoinFLEX, which has a written contract with Roger Ver and requires him to personally guarantee any negative equity on his CoinFLEX account and top up margin regularly. As Roger Ver has breached this agreement, CoinFLEX has issued a notice of default. Roger Ver denied that CoinFLEX's debt was related to him. However, CoinFLEX states that its debt is 100% related to Roger Ver's account and denies that it owes Roger Ver any debt and that Roger Ver's claims are false.
Previously, CoinFLEX suspended user withdrawals on June 24, citing extreme market conditions and uncertainty over counterparty conditions. In addition, CoinFLEX plans to raise $47 million by issuing 20% annualized tokens.
