Collab.Land, the community-driven platform for web3 projects, has announced the launch of its token, $COLLAB.
The token, which is primarily for governance and use within the Collab.Land ecosystem, will allow community members to govern the platform and vote on feature requests, offer bounties, curate the marketplace, and more. Collab.Land's Top 100 Discord communities based on membership, longevity, and activity, verified community members in Discord or Telegram, Collab.Land Patron NFT holders (token numbers 1-142), and Collab.Land Membership NFT holders are all eligible for a sponsored claim.
The token claim period will start on February 23, 2023, and will end on May 23, 2023. Those who wish to claim $COLLAB should visit wagmi.collab.land and follow the steps to learn about the token and the Collab.Land DAO.
Collab.Land's Top 100 Discord communities can determine how they want to use or distribute 15% of the total $COLLAB supply. Each of the Top 100 communities must go through the Community Claim Process to propose a unique and creative mechanism for how they will use and/or distribute the tokens.
Collab.Land is a platform that allows Discord server owners to create and manage custom bot interactions for their community. With Collab.Land, server owners can set up unique experiences and events, such as games, giveaways, and even NFT drops.
