ConsenSys Closed $450 Million Series D Financing at $7 Billion Valuation Led by ParaFi Capital

Ethereum application and infrastructure builder ConsenSys has closed a $450 million Series D round of funding at a $7 billion valuation led by ParaFi Capital with participation from Temasek, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Microsoft, Anthos Capital, Sound Ventures and others. ConsenSys reportedly plans to convert the funds raised into $ETH, which will support accelerated global adoption of the Infura’s development tool suite, drive NFT adoption for brands and artists, and support the rapid expansion of MetaMask. Previously, ConsenSys closed a $200 million Series C round in November 2021 with participation from Dragonfly Capital, Coinbase Ventures and others.
