ConsenSys' Layer 2 network Linea is launching a Soul-Bound Token (SBT) called Voyage XP, aimed at standardizing and recognizing contributions to the development of the Linea ecosystem.
Voyage XP is a non-transferable Soul-Bound Token (SBT) representing the contributions of each community member to the ecosystem's development, including users, startups, DApps, and Linea team members. Voyage XP is visible by default in MetaMask, non-transferable, and cannot be cross-chained to other networks; it is associated with the user's address. Additionally, Voyage XP will grant holders eligibility for certain privileges, such as obtaining official community roles and exclusive Linea merchandise.
Linea plans to deploy Voyage XP in the upcoming Linea Voyage: DeFi event and will also retroactively distribute it for Voyage: Testnet to Mainnet and the ongoing Linea Voyage: Entertainment Festival, combined with cryptographic proof related to these commitments, such as whitelists, Voyage NFTs, or Discord roles obtained from these activities.
