Cosmos Inter-Chain Asset Management Protocol QuasarFi Launched Public Testnet

Quasar is a DeFi-focused Cosmos appchain for cross-chain digital asset management enabled by the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC). The protocol recently launched its public testnet.

With Quasar, users can take advantage of customizable financial strategies to deploy assets across a variety of independent blockchains. Liquidity providers (LPs) on Quasar can access actively managed strategies by joining dynamic vaults that combine expert guidance and collective decision-making. Vaults allow LPs to efficiently crowdsource and deploy capital in a permissionless, transparent, and self-governed way.

The Quasar Solution offers a unique approach to self-governed vaults for interchain strategies. It uses an independent appchain to run its vaults, which acts as a bookkeeping mechanism for users and their assets.

Quasar vaults are customizable, with users having the power to redefine parameters and adjust strategies. Each vault is governed by its participants, with the collective will of the participants guiding the strategy selection and management. Permissionless vault creation allows anyone to design strategies and crowdsource liquidity, with strategists and administrators gaining revenue from vault returns.

Quasar is also actively contributing to the IBC standards and has introduced Interchain Queries (ICQ) and Interchain Accounts (ICA) to allow vaults to remotely execute actions and ensure they remain noncustodial.
