Couple Suspected of Bitfinex Theft and $4.5 Billion in Crypto Laundering Request Hearing in Case Be Postponed

Attorneys for Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Morgan, the couple suspected in the Bitfinex theft and $4.5 billion laundering case, have submitted a joint letter to U.S. prosecutors asking a federal judge to postpone a hearing scheduled for Friday until May 4 to facilitate the discovery process and plea discussions.
