Critical Vulnerability Detected in Balancer V2 Pools, No Funds Lost Yet

Balancer tweeted that it has received a critical vulnerability report affecting a number of V2 Pools. Emergency mitigation procedures have been executed to secure a majority of TVL, but some funds remain at risk. Balancer advised users to withdraw affected LPs immediately. The Balancer UI will inform all users if they hold liquidity within affected LPs with step-by-step withdrawal instructions.

In addition, Balancer said the majority of funds on Balancer are safe. Only 1.4% of the total TVL is at risk, and only boosted pools are affected. Several pools are paused to mitigate risks and will remain so, with users advised to withdraw liquidity as soon as possible.

At the time of writing by Balancer, has not been exploited, and no funds have been lost.
