Crypto Advertising Will Be Absent from 2023 Super Bowl

Broadcaster Fox Sports said there will be no crypto ads in the upcoming Super Bowl. Fox Sports previously had two outstanding deals with crypto companies, but terminated those deals after FTX collapsed.

Last year's Super Bowl was so overrun with crypto ads – including from Coinbase, Crypto.com and FTX – that it became known as the "Crypto Bowl." According to MediaRadar, crypto companies spent a total of $54 million on Super Bowl ads in 2022.
