Crypto Banking and Payments Startup Zamp Closes $25 Million Funding Round Led by Sequoia Capital
Zamp, a crypto banking and payments startup, closed a $25 million round of funding led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, SoftBank COO Marcelo Claure, Polygon founder Sandeep Naliwal, Coinbase board member Gokul Rajaram, and others.
Zamp wants to build crypto-economy banking and payments services that help businesses innovate and meet consumer demand for digital goods in a compliant manner, providing a seamless and borderless experience across banking, payments and credit services, while building banking services offerings based on crypto payments, crypto escrow, and crypto integration. Amit Jain, the founder of Zamp, was also previously reported to hold the position of Managing Director at Sequoia Capital India.
