Crypto Exchange Gemini Denies 100K Bitcoin Lending Story

Crypto exchange Gemini announced on Twitter that, "We are aware of a recent story that suggested Gemini made a 100K BTC loan to large institutional counter-parties that reportedly resulted in a selloff in $LUNA. Gemini made no such loan." Previously, there was rumor that asset manager BlackRock and hedge fund giant Citadel Securities borrowed 100k bitcoin from Gemini to purchase $UST, only to dump the assets causing the market to collapse. According to Forbes, Black Rock and Citadel Securities denied the story as well. Both companies has stated that they do not trade $UST.
