Crypto Payments Startup Nume Crypto Closed $2 Million Funding Round Led by Sequoia Capital India

Nume Crypto, a crypto payments startup, closed a $2 million pre-seed round led by Sequoia Capital India with participation from Beenext, Whiteboard Capital, Polygon co-founder Jaynti Kanani, and former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan. The funds raised will be used to promote the use of cryptocurrencies in payments. Nume Crypto plans to launch its payments platform in the fourth quarter of this year. Nume Crypto is building its payments processor for both retail and business clients, dubbed NumePay and NumePay Business, respectively.
