Data: Ethereum transaction volume grew faster than Bitcoin in the first half of the year

TokenInsight news, according to a report released today by Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, the trading volume of the second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, grew faster than Bitcoin in the first half of this year. From the data of 20 major exchanges around the world, Coinbase found that Bitcoin's trading volume during this period reached 2.1 trillion US dollars, an increase of 489% from the 356 billion US dollars in the first half of last year. During the same period, the total transaction volume of Ethereum reached 1.4 trillion US dollars, an increase of 1461% from the 92 billion US dollars in the first half of 2020. According to Coinbase, this is the first time that the transaction speed of Ethereum continues to exceed that of Bitcoin.
