Decentralized Collaboration App Skiff Closed $10.5 Million Series A Funding Round Led by Sequoia Capital

Skiff, a decentralized collaboration app, closed a $10.5 million Series A round of funding led by Sequoia Capital. The new funding will be used to to build out private and collaborative workspaces for its burgeoning customer base. Skiff is a web app that has much of the same document-writing and sharing capabilities as Google Docs but is built on a foundation of end-to-end encryption. Skiff has partnered with Protocol Labs to offer decentralized storage and has integrated MetaMask, allowing users to sign in to Skiff using a portable crypto wallet instead of an email address.
