Decentralized Real-Time Detection Network Forta to Launch $FORT

Decentralized real-time detection network Forta has unveiled $FORT, an ERC-20 token which will be running on Ethereum, to introduce an incentive structure to protect the monitoring network. At the moment, the launch process is undisclosed. $FORT will be used to ensure the integrity of alerts broadcast by the network of nodes and the reliability of Detection Bots. Nodes runners must stake $FORT to provide security. If they execute their assigned work correctly and emit alerts, they'll earn rewards. But if they fail to do so, their $FORT will be slashed. Bot developers can stake $FORT on Detection Bots, signaling Detection Bot quality to Forta. Those with higher signal will be afforded additional node resources. In the future, $FORT will also be used to govern the project.
