The Fabricant, a digital fashion house for the metaverse, has raised $14 million in a round of funding led by Greenfield One, with participation from Sound Ventures, Red DAO and others. The fund will be used to support the company’s initiative to build the 'wardrobe of the metaverse'. The Fabricant aims to build a decentralized fashion house that will dress the population of the metaverse and create a more equitable, creative and sustainable fashion industry. The objective will be realised through the company's creative and NFT platform, The Fabricant Studio, where anyone can create, trade, and wear digital-only garments.
