Dubai and Hong Kong discuss virtual asset license passport plan

According to Hong Kong Radio, Hadi Badri, Executive Director of Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism, said that China has become the UAE's largest trading partner, and Hong Kong is also an important partner. He believes that the relationship between the two sides is close and welcomes mainland China and Hong Kong to actively strengthen their ties with the Middle East, planning to bring more Dubai businesses to Hong Kong to promote cooperation.

He said that Hong Kong and Dubai can cooperate to expand the family office network, and if they can achieve interconnection in the stock market, it can further promote the development of related fields. At present, Dubai is also discussing cooperation with Hong Kong in the field of virtual assets, including the license passport plan, but has not yet revealed the implementation timetable.
