dYdX Released dYdX Chain Alpha Mainnet

dYdX has unveiled its standalone blockchain, dYdX Chain, which is based on Cosmos technology. The activation of the dYdX alpha mainnet signifies the initial phase in the transition to dYdX v4.

Leveraging the Cosmos SDK, the dYdX Chain incorporates a decentralized, off-chain order book and is entirely open source.

Charles d'Haussy, CEO of the dYdX Foundation, stated, "After years of development, involving 60+ validators and top-tier trading firms across 5 testnets, the dYdX Chain has been officially launched by the community and DAO."

The primary objective of the alpha stage is to subject the network to stress tests, with ongoing efforts to onboard more than 60 validators in order to enhance network security. A subsequent beta launch is in the planning phase and awaits approval through a community vote.
