EOS Leap 3.1.0 Consensus Upgrade to Happen on September 21st

EOS announced that the Leap 3.1.0 consensus upgrade (hard fork) will happen on September 21. After the upgrade, the name EOS will stay the same, only the fork (copy) of EOSIO (the underlying codebase of EOS) will change to the new name Antelope. In addition, EOS said that Antelope is not a new blockchain, and it will not have a new token. There is no snapshot for an airdrop and no airdrop. After September 21st, EOS will run on Antelope Leap v3.1.0. This consensus upgrade will introduce Faster Finalit, enable trustless inter-blockchain communication between all Antelope-based blockchains, and more.
