Ethereum Developers Launches 2nd Devnet for Shanghai Upgrade, Plans to Conduct Shadow Fork of Mainnet in Weeks

On the latest Ethereum All Core Developers Consensus call, developers announced the launch of the second devnet for the Shanghai upgrade, which is used to test and look for bugs in software for the Shanghai upgrade. In addition, developers also conducted their first shadow fork of the Sepolia testnet.

Next week, developers plan to launch a larger, public test network for staked $ETH withdrawals. In the next few weeks, they plan to conduct the first shadow fork of the mainnet.
