Ethereum Goerli Testnet to Merge with Prater between August 6th and 12th

Ethereum Foundation announced that, for the last testnet proof-of-stake transition, Goerli testnet will merge with its associated Beacon Chain Prater. The network will retain the Goerli name post-merge. Firstly, Prater will undergo an upgrade to get ready for the merge, which is expected to happen on August 4th at 12:24pm, UTC. Then the Goerli/Prater merge will happen when Goerli hits a total difficulty of 10,790,000, expected between August 6th and 12th.
