Ethereum to Undergo Gray Glacier Fork on June 29th to Push Back Difficulty Bomb

Tim Beiko, a core Ethereum developer, announced that Ethereum mainnet will be undergoing the Gray Glacier fork at block 15,050,000, which is expected to occur on June 29th. Node operators need to upgrade their nodes before June 27th. The Gray Glacier network upgrade changes the parameters of Difficulty Bomb, pushing it back by 700,000 blocks, or roughly 100 days. It's expected that Difficulty Bomb will be delayed to mid September.
