Evmos Upgrade Failure Analysis Report: Core Team Upgrade Too Fast to Cause the Failure

Cosmos EVM hub Evmos released an upgrade failure analysis report stating that a mistake by the Evmos core team caused the incident. The core team rolled out the upgrade too quickly due to a critical security flaw, double signatures were not the root cause and cannot be blamed on validators. This is feeding into the process for deciding whether the chain will continue from 58700 or will reset to 0. The team needs to collect some final data points before finalizing. The team is also working on engineering efforts to smoothen out the relaunch with either option.
