Facebook Pay Renamed Meta Pay, Aims to Become Universal Wallet for Metaverse

Meta founder Zuckerberg has announced that Facebook Pay has been renamed Meta Pay, saying it is Meta's first step in creating a digital wallet for its metaverse vision. It is said that the wallet software will not change much in the short term. Zuckerberg says he envisions a future where Meta Pay will function as a universal wallet for all the digital items users buy or create in the metaverse.
