Former Coinbase Manager's Brother Sentenced to 10 Months in Prison for Insider Trading

In an order signed on January 4, Nikhil Wahi, the brother of a former Coinbase manager, was sentenced to 10 months in prison for insider trading by U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska.

Previously, Nikhil Wahi pleaded guilty at a hearing to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with an alleged insider trading scheme. He traded crypto assets based on Coinbase's confidential business information, to which he was not entitled.
