FTX to Compensate About $6 Million One-Time to Accounts Affected by Phishing Incident

FTX founder SBF tweeted that a few users accidentally registered at fake other sites, including 3 Commas. They provided their FTX api keys to use the sites' trading tools. Others users were probably phished through other methods. In response, SBF said FTX will provide a one-time compensation of about $6 million to FTX users affected by the phishing incident. In addition, SBF said FTX will absolve the hackers if they return 95% of the $6 million stolen from FTX accounts within 24 hours.

Previously, the API interface key between the trading bot platform 3Commas and FTX was leaked.
