An address on BNB Chain minted over $1 billion pGALA tokens out of thin air and profited from selling them on PancakeSwap.
The multi-link routing protocol pNetwork tweeted that a misconfiguration of the pNetwork bridge necessitated the redeployment of pGALA. They're working directly with Gala team and PancakeSwap to provide the necessary pGALA balances to restore functionality of pGALA deposits & withdrawals.
pNetwork said that the GALA bridge is temporarily suspended. The team is trying to drain the pGALA pancakeswap pool so please STOP buying as it will just slow down the recovery process for everyone.
In addition, pNetwork said a new pGALA token will be created to replace the old compromised one and airdropped in the coming days to those who had pGALA before the pool was drained.
According to TokenInsight data, $GALA price dropped 15.61% in 24 hours and the current price is $0.033129.
